Waiting for Baseline

Today is the first day in many weeks that I have felt better. I know I am still 13° or so away from “baseline,” so now is not the time to accept what I’ve got with more gusto than I have to give.

The last few weeks have been exceptionally:

– Dizzy
– Fatigued
– Asthenic
– Twitchy
– Motor-impaired
– Cognitively slow

Because of this, the Betaseron has gone back to giving me a constant flu-like series of aches that I cannot pin other than by dealing with the above list with the greatly reduced license of a Serf to his lord. So I have gone back to medicating prophylactically before injections; I am begrudging of this, but only idly. There is no other recourse.
